Afghanistan Youth TV was officially launched in June 2017 after 1.5 years of meticulous planning and relentless preparations. It is a non-profit media initiative being digitally aired in Kabul, Afghanistan, determined to create a major paradigm shift in the youth of Afghanistan.
The channel’s notion is to address youth issues and inculcate inspiring, striving and progressive mind-sets in the Afghan youth, restore faith and hope in Afghanistan’s youth by educating and motivating them through our shows. Through our various programs we will challenge youth’s outlooks and prepare them to be solution-driven.
The TV is medium for youth that provides space to communicate discontentment, wishes, and dreams, while reaching for positive, and common solutions. We have sought help of state-of-the-art technology to assure their message can flow seamlessly to the audience.
We have dedicated team that strives day and night for the brighter future of our youth by designing programs that divert them from the ills of society like drug addiction, illiteracy, crime, by showing them a positive direction and encouraging them to be an active and productive member of the society.
Through the power of media, we will contribute to the prosperity of Afghanistan and drive it to the league of developed nations.
I don’t really believe it is difficult to change the future, if we set the goals right. I believe there were a lot of opportunities lost throughout these years, but also a lot of opportunities gained by achievements and experiences.
Truly believe, we can focus on positivity in our society and our youth that’s the future of our society. Over 70% of our population are the youth and they are the most powerful asset we possess.
However, if we nurture them, it will reflect into success of our society over next 20 years and our next generations to come, It’s high time for us to realise their importance and role and understand that we are writing history now.
